People: PRAISE THE LORD!
OPENING PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING FOR WORSHIP:
Lord God:
We thank You for this opportunity to step aside from the trials and troubles of life, and come before You. Some of us are worn from the pressures of work. Some are weary from the challenges of the week. Some of us are worried about our health, and those we love. For this hour, let us forget about ourselves, and be lost in Your worship and praise! Let us celebrate the coming of Christ into our lives and world. Let us remember His victory over sin and death. Let us remember the eternal hope we have because of Him! Amen.
