But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In humility and faith let us confess our sin to God, using the prayer printed in your bulletin.

Lord God:

We confess we live in a violent world.

We cover our eyes to avoid gazing

at great suffering and injustice.

But it is all about us!

Forgive us, Lord, for walking by those in need.

By your grace forgive, comfort and transform us,
