Leader: Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,
People: to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Leader: Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you,
People: with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Leader: Whatever you do in word or deed,

People: do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

(Lector Only) If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In humility and faith let us confess our sin to God, using the prayer printed in your bulletin.

Gracious God:

Forgive us for wandering along faithless pathways;

Forgive us for wandering from the fold of safety;

Forgive us for being wandering people.

Bind our wandering hearts with fetters of love;

Let never ceasing streams of mercy flow among and

around us;

Seal our hearts with wondrous grace;

Let us bask in the eternal sun of your presence.
