But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In humility and faith let us confess our sin to God, using the prayer printed in your bulletin.

Lord God:
We confess that we have not loved,
As You have loved us.
We have taken Your love for granted.
We have insisted upon our own way.
We have been irritable and resentful.
At times, we have rejoiced when we saw another fail.
When Paul became a man, he gave up childish ways.
But we at times have remained childish in our

adulthood.
We have hurt those closest to us,
And those who depended upon us.
By Your mercy, forgive, transform and cleanse us!
