But if we confess our sins, God who is faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In humility and faith let us confess our sin to God, using the prayer printed in your bulletin.

O Lord, our God,
We confess that we get cell phones

so we can be constantly available,
and we can "text message" others to stay in touch.
Yet once a week seems too often for us to listen to You!
We're mighty busy, You know!
Speak to us in the message today.
Listen to our praise as we sing,
Make room in our cluttered minds
To clear the air with Your Word!
And send us from this place listening,
Learning, and giving thanks.
Amen.
